In
addition to the joy of singing in the school or church choir or playing an instrument in
the band or orchestra, there is the added bonus of fun group activities. These
musical groups have many extracurricular activities, summer camps, competitions
and tours that can be a blast. Playing in the band at football games, or marching in a parade can also
be a fun group activity, and statistics show that 52% of band students will go on to
college and graduate.
